At Pediatric Dentistry of Bonita, it is our mission
To provide the best available dental care for children from infancy through adolescence including those with special needs, insuring positive experiences for the future, a great smile, and a pratical and affordable approach to quality dental care.

Working with Children
We love kids, and we understand what they need to feel comfortable in a dental office. Our environment was designed specifically for children, with open bays as well as private treatment areas. There are accessible games, toys and family movies. In addition, we treat kids with respect and explain every step of their dental care in age- appropriate, child-friendly terms. It is our goal that your child develops and maintains a positive association with dental care, and we do everything we can to create a pleasant, supportive, and fun environment for them and for you.

Working with Parents
We help parents understand and address their family’s dental health care needs. We invite you to be present during your child’s exam so that we can better plan for his or her dental care. We encourage your active involvement in their initial appointments, and during these visits, we promise to explain everything to you in terms that you will understand. Ultimately, we want you to be very comfortable and satisfied with our collective decisions for your child.

Dental Home
In support of guidelines by the American Association of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) and the American Association of Pediatrics (AAP), we recommend that all children establish a Dental Home by the age of one year. We encourage you to consider Pediatric Dentistry of Bonita as the Dental Home for your child.
Why choose a pediatric dentist and our office

Dr.Taylor has completed two additional years of post-doctoral training, beyond the general dentistry degree, in the diagnosis and treatment of pediatric dental disease and dental problems specific to children and adolescents. This training includes special education in hospital dentistry and the treatment of the medically and physically compromised child. Her studies also included child psychology so she can understand children's needs from a well informed perspective. Since pediatric dentists focus on caring for all children's dental needs, they stay informed of the most recent advances in dental procedures for children.

Board Certified Pediatric Dentist - What does this mean?
Not all pediatric dentists are alike! It is important to seek a pediatric dentist that is board certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
A board certified pediatric dentist, or Diplomat, is a pediatric dentist that demonstrates an exceptional knowledge and expertise at a standard not possessed by other dentists.

The American Board of Pediatric Dentistry verifies credentials and a voluntary examination must be successfully completed. A dental practitioner with this level of certification exhibits a drive and determination for excellence in the field of pediatric dental health.

Dr. Taylor has attained certification with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, which represents the highest possible credentials within the field of Pediatric Dentistry.

According to the American Board of Pediatric Dentists, such credentials have been attained by less than 38% of all pediatric specialists within the United States.
When your child is in the care of a board certified pediatric dentist, they are being treated by the best of the best!
