Dr. Kahn is an active clinician of dentistry since 1977. A native of Orlando, Florida, he received his dental degree from Emory University School of Dentistry, achieving honors in Pedodontia, dentistry for children and from the American Student Dental Association for his research in antimicrobial activity. He moved his practice from Orlando to the present location in Maitland, Florida in 1985. He has served in leadership for organized dentistry since 1986, as president of Dental Society of Greater Orlando, as representative from the Central Florida District Dental Association to the Florida Dental Association, and council member to the FDA. He serves his dental fraternity internationally. He has received national honors for his dedication to his profession.

Dr. Kahn has served the community through the presidency of the Orlando Jaycees and the Maitland Center Rotary. He has been awarded recognition in Rotary International. Today, he remains active in the Central Florida Fair, the Industrial Development and Exchange Association, the Orlando Jaycee Colonels, and Maitland Rotary.

In Maitland, Dr. Kahn has built a restorative practice upon a foundation of facial pain relief and esthetics. He has completed three programs of continuing education in facial pain and one in oral implantology. He has co-founded two study clubs among dentists for facial pain and oral implantology. He has lectured to dentists on the art and science of occlusion, the mechanical action of the jaws, teeth and musculature. He consults with professionals on the topic of facial pain.

He has acquired tools of scientific investigation for radiology and laser light that allows him to detect pathology well before the visual and tactile means. He is able to view a patient's head and neck in manners that have saved their lives.

He has acquired a technologically advanced tool for the purpose of esthetically treating dental disease. He has a Biolase Waterlase that treats dental decay and oral soft and hard tissues. The laser leaves the oral tissues virtually free from bacteria and elements that cause inflammation. This instrumentation allows for rapid recovery from interceptive therapy, restoring his patients to an improved, more confident appearance.
