Implants
With over twelve years of experience in implant restoration, Dr. Hutchinson finds this aspect of general practice to be one of the most satisfying. Implants can be used to replace single or multiple missing teeth, anchor loose upper or lower dentures, or rebuild an entire dentition.
Cosmetic Dentistry
In addition to our interest in bleaching, our office staff is trained in the techniques used in preparation and delivery of Lumineer® veneers by Cerinate. Backed by a five year warranty by the laboratory, these restorations usually require minimal tooth structure modification, no numbing of teeth or gums, and are
completely painless for the patient.
Crown and Bridge work
Our office provides routine and complicated crown and bridge restoration for patients with broken or missing teeth. By utilizing only the best dental laboratories, we can assure our patients that they will receive the highest quality work.
Dentures and Partial Dentures
Construction of custom fit dentures and partial dentures that meet the patient's needs for aesthetics, function, and comfort is one of our goals. Dr. Hutchinson has had the benefit of working with some of this areas, and some of this country's, finest prosthodontists, and he brings their expertise to our practice.
Fillings and Operative Dentistry
Routine fillings, whether they are tooth-colored, silver, or gold, are still the mainstay of most general dental practices. Even though fluoridation has helped reduce the incidence of tooth decay in our population, we still see patients with cavities that need to be repaired. Our office provides this service using only
ADA approved dental materials and the most up-to-date techniques.
Pediatric Dentistry
Early recognition of potential dental problems can often minimize the treatment required. Our staff likes to see children at age 2 and a half to 3 years old. It is during these early years that we can, with the parents help, develop a sense of
confidence and security in the child. Positive dental experiences in childhood can result in a lifetime of not fearing dental treatment.
TMD (TMJ)
The stress of everyday life often results in patients clenching and grinding their teeth. Muscle, tooth and/or joint pain may result from these parafunctional habits. Dr. Hutchinson has many years of experience diagnosing and treating
Temporomandibular disorders using orthotics and other conservative means.
Periodontics
The foundation for our teeth is clinically known as the periodontium (gums, jaw bone and ligaments). Without a healthy foundation, our teeth can lose their support and be lost. It is the goal of out office to ensure that all of our patients have healthy support tissues for their teeth. Many years ago, we instituted a Soft Tissue Management (STM) Program designed to identify certain periodontal problems and provide a logical, step by step approach to treatment.
Early identification of periodontal problems and treatment can significantly decrease the need for extensive, and often costly, periodontal surgery in the future. Our patients have enjoyed great success and very healthy oral tissues with this early intervention.
Dental Hygiene and Diagnosis
Our well-trained dental hygienists will ensure that you receive a thorough, yet comfortable, professional dental cleaning. We utilize today's technology: Prophy jet, Piezo® scalers, STM® probe and digital radiography. Dr. Hutchinson will do a complete dental examination and Oral Cancer Screening during your appointment to ensure that we maintain your optimal dental health.
Whether your desire is for a whiter, brighter smile or a dental cosmetic make over, we have the staff and materials to accommodate your needs. Our office provides in-office bleaching using the Sapphire Light® and Rembrandt® products. Or, if you would like to use an at-home bleaching regimen, we have the Rembrandt® take-home bleaching system available for purchase.
