Dr. Willie B. Sherman, Jr., D.D.S, P.A. graduated from Howard University's Dental School in 1973. From 1973-74, he completed a family practice residency at National Institute of Mental Health St. Elizabeth Hospital in Washington DC. After completing his residency in 1974, he returned to Sanford, Florida to start his dental practice, We Care Dental Center.

After practicing in Sanford for two years, he began working part-time with various medical organizations, including the Orange County Health Department (five years), Migrant Dental Health Clinic in Ocoee (one year), and later organized and worked with the Migrant Dental Health Clinic in Oviedo (one year).

While continuing to operate his Sanford office he worked for the Orange County Health Department and Migrant Health Clinic he began another dental practice in Orlando, Florida in November 1978. In 1980, he began working exclusively in both his Orlando and Sanford offices.

Dr. Sherman has been practicing for 34 years. He is dedicated to giving back and being of service to the community. In his spare time, he donates to several community organizations including: Orlando Rescue Home Mission, Sanford Rescue Outreach Mission, World Vision (he has sponsored many children over the last 20 years), Elks Lodge, and many other church and civic organizations.

His affiliations include: First Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, NAACP (Life member), Omega Si Phi Fraternity, Elks Lodge, American Legion, National Dental Association, and the AMVETS.
